The working principle of surveying equipment is primarily to obtain the coordinate information of ground features by measuring spatial positions and angles. Taking a total station as an example, it measures horizontal and vertical angles through an angle measuring system, then combines this with a distance measuring system to obtain the distance to the target. Using trigonometric leveling or coordinate calculation principles, this data is converted into three-dimensional coordinates. This process relies on the combination of sophisticated optical, electronic, and computer technologies to achieve rapid and accurate spatial positioning.

 

GNSS receiving equipment works by receiving signals from satellites, calculating the distance between the receiver and multiple satellites, and then using satellite positioning algorithms to calculate the three-dimensional coordinates of ground points. Its core lies in precise timing and signal processing capabilities, enabling it to provide high-precision positioning information globally, either in real-time or after post-processing.
